About me
I have been working in the field of behavioral health since 2008. I received my undergraduate degree in English Literature and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Unsure of what I wanted to do, but a passion for story telling, I made a sharp left turn and entered the graduate social work program at West Chester University.
Bachelor of Arts (BA) - 2008
Masters in Social Work (MSW) - 2013
Licensed Social Worker (LSW) - 2014
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - 2018
I have extensive experience having worked in an outpatient facility as a primary therapist. I have worked with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, in both emotional support and learning support educational environments. I am trauma informed, certified in trauma-based CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and trained in MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction). I use an eclectic blend of evidence-based treatment approaches to fit what works for you and in your life, including CBT, DBT (Dialectal Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, narrative therapy, family systems, and Trauma Competency training.
